I know it's not Pi day or anything special but I just say this online and it blow my mind hard. I was simply amazed by this, my mind for a second overloaded with thoughts; and I love it. I just wanted to share my experience with you.
What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story? It was to tell readers how easily it is to change a persons point of view. Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith. After reading the story, do you agree? Does Faith's name fit her personality? Does Brown have true faith in her? Faith is the good girl in the story. Goodman Brown only hope was that faith was a sin free person. He was clinging on her when tested on his beliefs. But then that view is shattered in his face. What do you think the pink ribbons signify? I happen to believe that the ribbon is a symbol for purity and i read that the color pink is related to innocence, due to its similarity to white. Was everything Brown witnessed real, a figment of his imagination, something conjured by evil, or a dream? Support your answer with passages from the text. I think it's all too real. For a sane person to see all this must be on some drugs. W...
This cause is to raise awareness of the minority's of the immigrant community. There are two major reasons why I participated in this cause. The reasons might not be much, but I feel that they justify my actions. My first reason is that of self reliance on my own personal as an individual. I wish to be part of a big thing not just in this country, but the world. Just like Rosa Parks refused to give her seat for a society separated by skin color and unethical mentality. We today are judged by the our birth or cultural backgrounds. This idea is absurd to a point where it's time to get over our fear of your own species. Who else is going to help if not our own species( human) . My second reason is my family. Every day I wake up to see my family. We might not be a perfect one, nevertheless. I love them. They are indispensable and irreplaceable to me. This cause gave them a chance to show their importance in the community. They aren't ghost or enigma or anything like that. They ...
What you learned this semester/year in this course? This has been very interesting for me. The class was shocking at the beginning, but throughout the day together. Have really changed the aspects of a class. In my opinion, this class was all about the will of a student and to put in there on the amount of work and show who they really are. I have learned many things like Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. on top of that, i have learned the importance of being oneself be through our journals or speaking. How hard you worked? This year I feel I didn't work as much but I believe I could have done a better job, which is a shame, to be honest, me having not giving it all when I could that is truly a pitiful thing to do. At least one great mistake you made and how it helped you? the great I ever made this year is not in the class but as the whole year. I was not involved a lot all the times I could have done I didn't. This mistake has shown me that next year will be an o...
