Immigrants in our own land by Jimmy Santaigo is just amazing for me. I feel the were he's getting  from. To be honest I never understood poetry; I find it hard to get their points, but this poem was straight on .

Remember that time you ate that spicy salsa just before you went to bed on the night before the big date?  Oh, that weird dream you had about the 2016 presidential election.  When you woke up you couldn't quite remember the horrific details, but after reading "On Self-Reliance" and "A Sound of Thunder" it's all coming back to you now. The dream started badly.  You were in line with your family at a dinner waiting to be sent to home.  Everywhere you looked there were posters of president-elect Adam Hunter, looking like a crazy bull who could eat a whole Field. Suddenly, there was Ralph Waldo Emerson telling you, "imitation is suicide."  You realized that you have something to contribute to the world so you decided to bail.  But it wasn't easy.  First you had to put on a fancy show and act and then you had make a phone to go back in time to the library so you could convince people to learn about the candidates and the environment. But right

Lately I've been trying to learn latin. It's quiet easy to understand. I think it's, because I speak spanish. I'm trying to learn to speak it. The lenguage is very imtresting. I hope to master the lenguage in a short time.

Well last Saturday my club the Alpine club we went to Los Flores Ranch Park to help make new trails for the community. It was quiet fun indeed it was find. We were quiet tried and made it through thank goodness . We saw many spiders and i even got to pick them up. They were pretty big.To be honest I would like to help again; maybe one day I will Ifind it cool that other people can enjoy the work we putin. I recommend people go out and try the new trail.

Well this year for thanksgiving was smaller then most years. Last year was a much bigger; we had to eat outside due to the crowd inside the house. I have to say it was a sight to see. Lots of family members came over and brought lots of delicious food. Its was truly great. This time it was just my famliy that was part of it. The feast was small, but good. We had a great time; got to comunitate better with each other. I am truly greatful for my famlity and friends. They have played an important role in my life. I am also greatful for the things I have it is not a lot, but I appreciate it.

How would I explain "self reliance" by Emerson  to a 10 year old child. Well I would tell him to himself and to believe in himself. Don't held back by his mind and go with is guts. We all have a special gift to enable us to do great things and one day they shall uncover this by trying out new things. To do what you can do and enjoy it.

The essay is a masterpiece of which I am reading. Emerson's ideas are one of the most compelling ones I've ever heard. His I idea of trusting oneself to be a able to truly live is a strong idea to me, because I want to talk about my ideas. I don't understand most of paraphrases he used that's what made it hard for me to understand. But overall I did get point of being bold of you what think.

This video really made me think about school and how it works. I found my self agreeing with the video. Don't you?

I know it's not Pi day or anything special but I just say this online and it blow my mind hard. I was simply amazed by this, my mind for a second overloaded with thoughts; and I love it. I just wanted to share my experience with you.

Well I read to the part where he gets stopped by the police. He is asked what he's doing. I think that society in that time expects the people to be sheeps and do what everyone is doing. I believe it is what is kind of happening today.

Well I watched like 10 minutes of the debate and found it to be interesting. I have never watched one before. This was an eye opener you can say. Well in the beginning they were talking about guns and African Americans bad how they were seen in society. The also gave out their ideas on how to change this and one wanted more check ups and the other wanted to bring back old law in place. Well that was a good too see how presidents make an impression on people.

The impression I got from the couples paragraph was that this story is going  to be very fast in describing ideas. Also there is lots of allusion.

Well today I got an appointment to get my eyes checked, because I've been having trouble reading so let's see how it goes next week.!

Well On my essay I got an A-! Which by the was is great, but I'm not that satisfied with it. I could've of finishedthe last part and got a better grade. I do realize and agree that my answers were a little simple and basic. I was lost half way through the essay. I was funny, because I didn't know what write and the the stories started to come back to me. I had to stop and think every now and then. Now I'm going to talk my over all grade in this class I think it should be an A-, because I've got most of the blogs and journals done. I do get lost some times, but it okay.

So today my friend Arthur, Joe, and I had a robotics meeting after school. When we went we thought it wasn't gonna be fun but I turned out that we had a blast. 😎We got to build a robot with Legos it was my first. Unlike for Joe and Arthur who had done it before, but that didn't mean they couldn't enjoyed it. by the way they did. It was al cien if you know what I mean! I honestly can't wait for our next meeting and do more stuff.

I have just started to read the book called Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan. From what I have read in the first chapter is that it's about a crew in space. Their are two ships and are on the move. I have not finished the book and are unable to aswer the questions. But I hope you stay in tune for when I finish.

Faith- His faith in God was strong during his loneliness.  Threshold- The threshold of the house was very old compared to the rest of the house. Tarry- The tire left a tarry line on the ground. Restore- He needed to restore his phone after in fell and cracked. Discern-Their was no discern between him and me.  Martyr- The martyr was a very pitiful thing to hear. Mirth- The video got him in a mirth for a while. Catechism. The catechism is a very complex and hard thing to follow. Pious- The pious group was in everyone's conversation. Frenzy- He went into a frenzy of joy when he say his friend.

What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story? It was to tell readers how easily it is to change a persons point of view. Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith.  After reading the story, do you agree?  Does Faith's name fit her personality?  Does Brown have true faith in her? Faith is the good girl in the story. Goodman Brown only hope was that faith was a sin free person. He was clinging on her when tested on his beliefs. But then that view is  shattered in his face. What do you think the pink ribbons signify? I happen to believe that the ribbon is a symbol for purity and i read that the color pink is related to innocence, due to its similarity to white. Was everything Brown witnessed real, a figment of his imagination, something conjured by evil, or a dream?  Support your answer with passages from the text. I think it's all too real. 1.Theme- The theme of the book that we read was compassion and forgiveness. 2.Tone- The tone of the author was aggressive by the the was he used the boys speech towards his bully. 3. Syntax- The author used very complicated syntax in his writing. 6.  Stupid- The man was stupid enough to put is wallet on the side and then get it stolen. 7. Man, this essay was dope. I like how he was so honest with us. He was a smooth guy. I must agree with him and his point that; hacking is a way to explore and express your self. I agree with him 100%. I think it's not a crime for doing that, I have some exceptions.

Okay; in the beginning of the story I did not really understand what was going on. Also what was going on, but as I continued to read I started to see what it was about. All I understood was that good man was being enlighten about his faith. The man was telling him the truth about his beliefs. Thus, breaking his illusion of faith he had. I found this to be quite interesting for it's truth on reality.

The language in the story of "Earth on Turtles Back" to is very simple vocabulary and with short sentences. It is very similar to how we students talk to each other. On the other hand the language is meant to make it easier to memorize and transmute with each other. I think it is important to say a oral story word by word, because it might be losing its meaning from what it original meant. But it unavoidable to not lose word in the process. It's like the game telephone; it starts off good but ends up a whole different way at the end. Each person might understand it differently then the previous person. I just read many native american creation stories and i noticed that the all have great respect for animals. They believe that animals were a great part to the earths creation. Just like the turtle other thought animals created land on earth. Thus, giving them a great reason to protect nature.

I just read "The Earth on Turtle's". I found it quiet funny. Funny I say, because it's kind of a rash reason how the earth came to be. But who am I to say how ancient people decided to say the earth came to be. We Christians believe a holy deity said some word and from those word truth came out.This story was almost like for a child, I can understand; they made this simple for anyone to learn it fast.I did enjoy the part when the muskrat went down. i really liked is bravery. The other animals underestimated the small thing, but at the end he saved the day. It was almost like a cliche. Over all I have to say it was a great story and entertaining.

I just read " The Right to Your Opinion " and I thought it was very interesting. I find it funny how irrelevant our opinion is to an argument. The part were he was explaining about matters of the truth were very intriguing. The truth in our opinion; is what we believe in and that blows my mind. My head just gets all tingly inside when I think of this. To be honest I do this very often with my opinions and my i realize how utterly illogical I sounded.All in all I recommend people to read this and understand how saying our opinion really works and what it implies.
