MY MAD DREAM OF AN ESSAY

Remember that time you ate that spicy salsa just before you went to bed on the night before the big date?  Oh, that weird dream you had about the 2016 presidential election.  When you woke up you couldn't quite remember the horrific details, but after reading "On Self-Reliance" and "A Sound of Thunder" it's all coming back to you now.

The dream started badly.  You were in line with your family at a dinner waiting to be sent to home.  Everywhere you looked there were posters of president-elect Adam Hunter, looking like a crazy bull who could eat a whole Field.

Suddenly, there was Ralph Waldo Emerson telling you, "imitation is suicide."  You realized that you have something to contribute to the world so you decided to bail.  But it wasn't easy.  First you had to put on a fancy show and act and then you had make a phone to go back in time to the library so you could convince people to learn about the candidates and the environment.

But right there in the library there was a giant fence and it started staring at everyone.  People started to panic.  You grabbed a stick from a nearby tree and yelled why.  Everyone stopped and listened, so you kept going.

Well to start I believe in cause and effect. This means that for every thing I do it will cause something somewhere. For example if I said hello to a person; That person will be affected with my action thus chancing an outcome. This is something I greatly believe. Many people may also think this not just I. My sister and father have a belief in this too. My mother on other hand is against our idea she believes in destiny that is already planned for us and can't be changed. This idea is bogus in my eyes, but it is up to them to believe in what they believe. I would like to disprove that with my next point.

Like in the story,"Sound of Thunder" something so small like stepping on the grass or a measly butterfly in an ancient world will have a big impact on the future. As I stated before just by saying hello or hi will have an outcome by which you input. There are other variables in play too like what you say or do. For example if I tell someone to do something it wouldn't only involve us, but a much big group of people envolved. It's almost like a domino chain that breaks off in many branches. This is, but one example of why I believe in cause and effect. Tomorrow I shall give more examples.
