A day without immigrants
This cause is to raise awareness of the minority's of the immigrant community. There are two major reasons why I participated in this cause. The reasons might not be much, but I feel that they justify my actions. My first reason is that of self reliance on my own personal as an individual. I wish to be part of a big thing not just in this country, but the world. Just like Rosa Parks refused to give her seat for a society separated by skin color and unethical mentality. We today are judged by the our birth or cultural backgrounds. This idea is absurd to a point where it's time to get over our fear of your own species. Who else is going to help if not our own species( human) . My second reason is my family. Every day I wake up to see my family. We might not be a perfect one, nevertheless. I love them. They are indispensable and irreplaceable to me. This cause gave them a chance to show their importance in the community. They aren't ghost or enigma or anything like that. They wanted to show they were here and are vital part of the country. I understand humans like be recognized by others by it's only by nature that we do this. Everyday my parents see hate and rejection towards immigrants; they find it unbelievable how humans can dislike each other in such ways.ait truly is and I agree 100% with them. How can being legal or illegal determine a persons personally. We are losing your kindness and the things that makes us a good human beings. Greed and selfishness is getting the best of us. I don't blame them; in a society were money rules over lives and moral issues. It's almost sad to see such things. In a world where things are meant be bring us closer are in reality separating us more. I truly think this can change , because like Martin Luther King Jr said "I have a dream"; well I to have a dream which is to live in world where hate and greed is overcomed by love and kindness. That's why I joined the cause on February 16,2017.
